Land Development and Leasing Company


The company lacked visibility into the financial performance and status of a large and dynamic commercial real estate development portfolio (2.5b+) as projects moved from site selection, through land acquisition, development to active leasing.


After understanding the highly manual business workflow and creating a business case, the team developed a custom enterprise application that would allow the company to automate many business functions and track and report on each individual project's financial performance and status in real-time.

The team worked closely with the stakeholders to understand their pain points and requirements to design a scalable, cloud-based solution to meet their needs. The new application was a significant business operating change, and a comprehensive Organizational Change Management (OCM) plan was created and implemented to ensure adoption and maximize benefit.


The project went live and immediately transformed the company from siloed spreadsheets to a unified platform that positively impacted the company by reducing expensive errors and construction delays, streamlining the permitting and regulatory approval process, and providing executive management real-time visibility into all in-progress project and financial performance KPIs.
